How ChooChoo referral links work
Some application links on ChooChoo contain a referral identifier. If you apply through one of those links and later meet the hiring platform's referral requirements, ChooChoo may receive a payment.
Referral payments do not reduce your compensation and do not increase the price of anything you apply for or purchase. ChooChoo does not control hiring decisions, project assignments, compensation, or application outcomes — those are all determined by the hiring platform or company.
Referral terms vary by platform and may change without notice. A link being present does not guarantee that a referral payment will be earned, or that one exists at all for a given role.
ChooChoo may also publish opportunities that don't offer any referral payment, when they're useful enough to readers to be worth including.
Editorial independence
Referral availability may influence which platforms ChooChoo can sustainably spend time covering — reviewing and writing up listings takes time, and referral income is part of what makes that time worthwhile. It does not change the facts presented about a role. Drawbacks and eligibility restrictions are included when they're known, referral or not.
