Privacy policy
ChooChoo collects as little personal information as it reasonably can. This page describes what is collected and why.
Analytics
ChooChoo uses Google Tag Manager and related Google analytics and advertising tags to understand aggregate traffic — which pages get visited, which links get clicked, and where visitors came from (including UTM parameters used to track Craigslist and LinkedIn referrals). Analytics cookies only load after you accept them in the cookie banner; declining limits tracking to what's strictly necessary for the site to function.
Outbound links
Clicks on "Apply" and similar outbound links may be tracked to understand which roles get attention. This does not give ChooChoo visibility into what happens after you land on the hiring platform's site — we cannot see your application, its status, or your account there.
The report-a-problem form
The report a listing problem page opens a pre-filled email in your own email client rather than submitting data to ChooChoo's servers directly. Whatever you send is only retained in that email thread, for as long as it takes to resolve the issue.
What ChooChoo does not collect
ChooChoo does not collect résumés, applications, or other employment data — those go directly to the hiring platform, never through ChooChoo.
